It's ok for a weekend dont use the showers the only problem we had if you pitch up near the boats one of the boat owners is not nice thinks we shoudnt be there .

Facilities not good for tourers toilets and showers worst I have come across, looks like a caravan grave yard on most of the site, traffic noise insessent and somebody nearby playing loud music up till 3.30 am, had to go out and buy ear plugs. Would not stay here again

This is a lovely place to relax and escape the daily grind with the River Soar and the Grand Union Canal running along the edges with a working lock at the entrance. Very secure with friendly staff and owners. The park has on site toilets and showers and a newly refurbished club house with licenced bar. Located on the edge of Barrow Upon Soar village it is very well connected to the nearby a6 and motorway network, there are many local amenities with 2 pubs and an Indian restraunt at the entrance to the park, also other various shops and takeaways are just a 5 minute walk away.

Great place to camp were local and go all the time you can go right up the back and you could be in derby you couldn't tell the difference

We booked without reading the reviews and were in two minds whether to go when we saw them. So glad we did though. Yes there are a number of fields with caravans stored at the entrance but the camping fields to the rear of the site were huge. We had a whole field to ourselves, it was great. We were able to have a fire at night and were not woken by other campers. The toilet / shower block is a bit of a trek from the camping fields and definitely basic, but they were clean and never any queues. Take a Porta potty and you will be fine.
